Ajith’s Asal Latest Gallery

'Thala' Ajith Kumar’s 49th film Asal is directed by Saran of Amarkalam fame and is produced by Sivaji Productions. The Ajith-Saran combo has in the past created records and a hat-trick: Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam and Attagasam.

After a lot of thought, Sameera Reddy was roped in to play the female lead, after her sleek and crisp performance in Vaaranam Aayiram directed by Gautham Menon.

Saran is simultaneously working on Modhi Vilayadu with Vinay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead.

The music for Asal will be scored by Bharadwaj. Saran and Bharadwaj combination is something that has always worked and is all set to create magic once again. Some of their most noteworthy ventures include Idaya Thirudan, Parthen Rasithen, Vattaram, Jay Jay, Gemini, Amarkalam and Attagasam.

Ajith in the meanwhile has got an image makeover and is also very upbeat about the script!
