Actress Shamu
Actress Shamu is currently acting in a film titled Maathi Yosi. Her hair was curled at a cost of Rs 1 lakh. Director Nandasamy while speaking about this said,” 80% of the shooting is over. Only climax scene is to be shot. We have planned to shoot the climax scene is an enormous manner in a village near Chingalpet.
We had gathered around 100 boys in Anaipatti village near Vadalagundu and conducted the shooting. Shamu’s co operation was really fantastic. She never asked for caravan or special food. She was cordial and acted well. There was not much expense for costumes. Only the trouser was the costume for the hero as well as the boys. Shamu had used only three costumes. But we had to spend Rs 1 Lakh for her hair. As the story, she has to have curly hair. In order to curl her hair we had to spend Rs 15000. But within a week’s time her hair would become straight. Again she has to go to the beauty parlor to get her hair curled. Because of this we incurred an expense of Rs 1 Lakh.”
