Anita Udeep has been on her decent endeavors on working for various projects including animation films. Perhaps, now she steps on for making her directorial in Tamil film industry. Anita Udeep has excellently spelled best visuals on the screens with spellbinding cinematography and Visual Colorists. But merely, she fails to focus on penning a gripping screenplay.

Drama starts with Surya (Sanjeev) – a brilliant student in 11th standard. But his bullying worries his mom Nandini who fears that he may turn to be like his alienated dad (Aditya) who’s a pakka rowdy. Vowing to lead a decent life, he obeys his mom who sends him to Lake View School in Ooty to continue his studies. Over there he meets Tanya (Riya Poongodi) and falls in love with her while there blossoms a great friendship with Babloo. But Sanjeev has a hard time with his senior students of 12thclass troubling him a lot.

Analyzing the film, although it has good visuals, there are few absurdities that naturally stops us from singing appraisals. The scenario is so artificial like school students behaving much overactive than College… 12th guys ragging 11th class students, calling for ring fights is really goes above our heads.

Performance by Sanjeev is appreciable as he does good job while Riya doesn’t go for a nice show on performing the bubbly character although she looks cute. The fat guy enacting his friend’s role is entertaining as he adds to the humor quotients.

Musical score by Bobo is commendable, but quite loud on hip-hop fangled with lyrics being not heard properly. Merely one song ‘Manasellam’ is catchy. Cinematography by LK Vijay is prodigious and visual animation like dew falling in Ooty is a creative piece.

As a whole, you can watch ‘Kulir 100 Degree’ if you don’t have any idea about what this film is all about.

Verdict: Somewhere between bad and average
