‘Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’ dropped

Looks like the quickie project that director Selva Raghavan planned with brother Dhanush, 'Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam', has been dropped.

Andrea's statement that 'Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam', which has her and Dhanush in the lead, will not happen anytime now, seems to be right.

And the reason for this: Selva already has his next two years full with projects in other languages. Following 'Aayirathil Oruvan', which took a full two years to be completed, the director is said to be committed to do a film each in Telugu and Hindi. Both were prior commitments, and the director is said to have planned to complete them before he takes on his next project, which could have either Vikram or Dhanush in the lead.

Vikram, meanwhile, is said to be planning his next flick after 'Raavana' with director KS Ravikumar. This film will be produced by Mohan Natrajan and it is said that the film will be shot completely in Ireland.
