Remember Thamira’s ‘Rettaisuzhi‘, the film that has both direction legends K Balachandar and Bharathiraja acting in pivotal roles?
Shoot for the film, being produced by Shankar’s S Pictures is said to be on in full force. Shot for most part in Tirunelveli, the film is said to another village pot boiler.
Directing the two directors has been very easy, claims director Thamira, for whom this is a debut venture. Apart from the duo, director Azhagam Perumal is also said to be playing an important role in the film.
The latest we hear about the film is that K Balachandar actually has a pair in the film. It is his yesteryear heroine Jayachitra and it was he who had introduced her in ‘Sollathan Nininakkiren’. Bharathiraja, meanwhile, does not have a pair in the film.
Music for the film is by Karthik Raja, whose latest film, ‘Achchamundu! Achchamundu!’ has brought him back in the foray of leading music composers.
