Actor Arya
Arya doesn’t seem to be deterred by his slew of washouts at the box office. If his ‘Naan Kadavul‘ took three years to be made and sank without a trace, his equally much hyped ‘Sarvam‘ disappointed him and his fans with its weak characterization and screenplay.
Yet, the actor has taken on a big budget mega period flick like ‘Madhrasapattinam‘, which will also be a tedious process in being filmed, owing to its storyline, set in the pre independence period. But he is simultaneously working on another project with director Manikandan (Jeeva’s assistant), which is titled ‘Chikku Bhukku‘, in which he is paired with Shriya.
As if these grueling projects weren’t enough, the actor has taken on the task of producing a film. Calling his banner “The Show People”, Arya has planned on producing a film, called ‘Padithurai’. The film is being directed by one of Bala’s assistants, Suga. New comer Abishek plays the lead role in this film, which has Ananya of ‘Naadodigal’ fame, playing the heroine. Here’s hoping Arya succeeds in his production ventures.
