Oscar winner A R Rahman press meet

The celebration is on going for the music fraternity of India with the double wammy Oscar for AR Rahman. Rahman attended the first press meet after his Oscar award on Thursday, February 26 in chennai. Rahman said that he was more concerned about his live performance than the award.Originally Rahman was asked to perform for the remix version of Aaj Ki Raar, but he wanted to perform for his own composition and hence chose Jai Ho. He also said that the Oscar win doubled his responsibility toward music and this is the time for start of extro-ordinary things. Rahman is also the fourth in the world ever to have won two Oscars for best composition and best song in the same year.
