Thoranai – Vishal Movie Working Stills

Vishal’s next film is titled Thoranai.  Thoranai is a forthcoming film that stars Vishal and Shriya Saran in the lead roles, whilst, supporting actor Prakash Raj plays another prominent role. Directed by debutant Iyappan, and produced by Vishal’s home company, GK Films. The film is titled Pistha, for its simultaneously filmed Telugu version.

Shriya is back to Kollywood and with a bang! She has four releases in the next six months - Kandasamy with Vikram,  Jaggubhai with Sarath Kumar, Thoranai with Vishal and Kutty opposite Dhanush.

She has probably realised that it is not worth doing itsy-bitsy films in Hollywood and Bollywood with actors who do not have a reach! Now, she is trying to re-invent herself in Tamil by signing films with mid-level heroes and top banners. She has also been shortlisted to play Surya’s heroine in Singam. But the actress, who has seen a lull in her career after Sivaji, says she has not reduced her salary. “I never charged more than what I thought I deserved. I haven’t cut it now to get more offers too,” is her explanation!
