Rahman, Sukhwinder to perform for Oscars!

Its turning out to one of the most memorable year for Rahman. After winning the golden globe award for his remarkable music in Slumdog Millionare, Rahman is going to be performing at the Oscars next. A R Rahman also created history when his compositions Jai ho along with O Saaya received nominations for the Best Original Song category this year at the aOscars.

On the 22nd February, known to film buffs across the world as Oscar Night, the music maestro will be opening the ceremony with ‘Jai Ho’ with singer Sukhwinder Singh accompanying him on stage.

Sources have it that Rahman is altering ‘Jai Ho’ to allow it to be in perfect synchronization with the live orchestration that will be accompanying his song on the big night.
