Nayantara’s loss is Tamanna‘s gain. Since the time Nayantara officially walked out of Paiyya, Linguswamy‘s next venture, the crew of the film has been on the lookout for a right replacement for the lead actress role. Many big names including that of Trisha was considered but looks like the director has zeroed in finally on Tamanna.
Directed by hit filmmaker N. Linguswamy, Paiyaa stars Paruthiveeran Karthi in the lead role and is produced by Subash Chandra Bose. Earlier the industry was abuzz with news that with the current economic conditions, director Lingusamy wanted Nayan to take a pay cut but Nayantara decided to skip the movie.
Tamanna has been steadily climbing the ladder since her Kaloori in Tamil. She currently has Ayan, Anandha Thandavam, Padikathavan in Tamil and Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kastam in Telugu.
