September 11 suspects offer to plead guilty

One of the main mastermind in September 11 attack Khalid Sheikh Muhammed and four of his associates have confessed in front of a military judge and a group of victim's relatives and said that they are ready to plead guilty that could lead to a death penalty.

Military prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against the five alleged including Mohammad.

For the first time, nine relatives of the victims were flown to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba by the US military to watch the proceedings.
