Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday apologised for the Mumbai terror attacks that killed around 200 peope and injured hundreds.
“I apologise to the people of the country that this dastardly act could not be prevented,” he said in Parliament yesterday.
He also promised more steps to meet the threat like NSG wings in each state, national investigation agency and more efficient coastal surveillance.
