Iraqi Prime Minister’s spokesman said that the Iraqi journalist, Muntader al-Zaidi who thew shoes at US President George W Bush had sent a letter to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki seeking forgiveness for his act.
But his brother Udai al-Zaidi sait that it is a big lie. “I am suspicious, because I know my brother very well,” he said.
Muntadar al-Zaidi could face imprisonment if convicted of insulting a foreign leader.
On Wednesday Iraqi Parliament erupted in uproar as lawmakers clashed over Zaidi issue.
