Lightsmen Union Cancels Shooting of Tamil Films

Shooting of several films including TV serials have come to a standstill as South India Cine & TV Outdoor Technicians Union, Light mens are in strike.
Union is demanding a hike in their daily wages from Rs 225 to Rs 500, while the producers are willing to increase it by 50 percent and more to Rs 350.
It is a 125 % increase demand, Tamil Film Producers Council says it’s unreasonable.
