Shruti, who leaves for an outdoor schedule to South Africa for Soham Shah’s Luck opposite Imran Khan, has been trying to make peace with her mother.

Sources reveal that Sarika stopped all contact with Shruti after the latter moved in with her father Kamal Haasan and actress Gowthami. Recently, Shruti, who also performs at various private clubs with her band, The Extramentals, tried to get in touch with Sarika when she was in town, the news report alleges.

A source says, ‘Shruti was in Mumbai performing at a club and she even invited Sarika to attend the event. However, Sarika ignored her request and didn’t revert back.’

In fact, her father takes all her major decisions as far as films are concerned. The last time Sarika and Shruti connected was months back at a common function, the report adds.
