Autograph – 2 indeed is the other title that Cheran has got for the film Pokkisham. Shooting for the film hit the floors during last month at exotic locations across the Southern Part of Tamil Nadu at Gobichettipalayam and Pollacchi. Now, with second shooting schedule on the process, Cheran and the entire team has fleeted to Kolkotta to shoot those scenes that happens to be the turning point in the film. On the other end, Director Cheran is awaiting good results in his forthcoming film ‘Raman Thediya Seedhai’ that is slated to hit the screens by next month.

Many filmmakers are turning into actors and Director Ameer is one among them. At the moment, shooting for the film ‘Yogi‘, he is getting more offers to play lead roles. Director Vincent Selva who made films Jithan, Madurai Veeran and more films for Super Good films has offered Ameer to play lead role in his forthcoming directorial. Taare Zameen Par to be dubbed in Tamil as Vaal Natchathiram, with Surya lending his voice for Aamir Khan in the Tamil version of the movie. Winning laurels across far-flung corners of the globe with his Dasavatharam, Kamal Haasan has lots of offers from the World renowned Directors. At the moment, he has been approached by Bharath Bala Productions that produced A.R.Rahaman’s musical album ‘Vande Mataram‘ and ‘Jana Gana Mana‘. Hollywood’s Walt Disney is also expected to join hands for the production works and the film is titled as 19 steps. The film directed by Bharathbala himself is set at the backdrops of Kerala in 9th Century. Japanese Film Superstar Thadanobhu Asaano plays the important role in the film. (more…)
