Ninaithale Inikkum happens to be the evergreen blockbuster in the history of Tamil Cinema with superstars like Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan teaming up together for their mentor’s directorial. After more than couple of decades, K. Balachandar’s assistant Udhayabhanu is remaking the film in Hindi. Star-casts for the film are yet to be confirmed and K. Balachandar himself is producing the film under the banner of Kavithalaya Productions. Udhayabhanu has earlier made films like Naalai and Chakravyugham.
Kavithalaya Productions that was under trouble for quite some time has been raised to the high levels ever since it produced Rajnikanth starrer Kuselan. With the film being sold for Rs. 65Crores to Pyramid Saimira, K.Balachandar has geared up with continuous production of films Thiruvannamalai starring Arjun in lead roles, Krishnaleelai starring Jeevan in lead role and of course the remake of Ninaithale Inikkum.
