Priyamani is going places with the nation-wide recognition after winning the national award for the best actress category, for her fabulous performance in the Tamil film ‘Paruthiveeran’. This lucky mascot has now grabbed the opportunity to be the part of Maniratnam’s latest venture that is to be made both in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously. While Abhishek plays the lead man in Hindi, so as Vikram in Tamil and Aishwarya Rai plays the lead lady in both the versions.
Priyamani enacts the role of second heroine pairing with Prithviraj, who is said to be playing the negative shade. Probably, Mani is trying to merge the style of characterization of Priyamani and Prithviraj with that of Madhavan and Meera Jasmine in ‘Yuva’. This interesting project which is to commence in September will also have A.R Rahman for music composition and PC Sriram for the cinematography.
