Mirugam is Mrugam in Telugu

The movie which has been widely in news because of Director Samy and actress Padma Priya, will hit Tollywood too and will be seen in Telugu as a dubbed form under the same banner Karthik Jai Movies Pvt Ltd. The film is titled Mrugam in Telugu and has actor Adhi and actress Padmapriya in the lead role.Mirugam deals with the story of a Iyanar, a man who displays rough feelings. Though his family tries to reform him, Iyanar does not change himself. Finally he faces a situation wherein he is forced to give up. His momentary decision to live or to die makes the story. Mirugam is based on Vairamuthu’s “Kallikattu Idhigasam”.

The cast also includes Sona, Ganja Karuppu and Banuchander.
