Boom Boom Maattukaaran for Vanakkamma

Its going to be Boom Boom Maattukaaran instead of Rama and Hanuman who will disguise themselves and check out the surroundings and then loot the houses at night in the movie Vanakamma.

The change in characters is a result of the protest Hindu acvitists, led by Rama Gopalan, had raised objection to the still which depicted actors Saravanan (Rama) and Vishnupriyan (Hanuman), in their mythological costumes, urinating by the roadside. According to the original script Saravanan and Vishupriyan were to disguise as Rama and Hanuman but will now be seen as a pair of Boom Boom Mattukaaran.

Fresh face Swatika will make her debut as heroine. Anbu Thennarasu is the producer of the movie and the film is being scripted and directed by S N Ariram.
