A youthful and powerful film

Murali krishna who had earlier directed films like Parvai Ondre Podhume, Pesadha Kannum Pesume and Thirudya Idhayam is back after a long exile. He is now directing a new film titled Balam. Balam which means strength is the theme of the story itself.

An unemployed youth using his talent and strength goes on betting in all issues but at a certain point of time this betting itself brings a serious turning point in his life. With all the ingredients of a youthful commercial cinema, this film will definitely attract both the genders of youth.Arvind Vinodh is debuting in this film as the hero.

Popular Mumbai model Deepachari is pairing with Arvind. Suhasini, Rehaman, Santhanam, Nellai Shiva and Maya are also starring in this movie. Yugendran is composing the music for the lyrics penned by his father Malaysia Vasudevan, Viveka and Muralikrishna. Yugendran has also penned a lyric for a song. Shreeshankar is handling the camera. C.J.reddy Enterprises is producing this film and is co produced by V.Arun and K.Shivaganesan. The shooting of the film has already commenced and is progressing well in Chennai.
