Revathi walks out of Hema Malini movie
Mama Hema Malini had decided to produce a movie for daughter Esha Deol, whose career graph is on a downward swing. The movie was to be directed by actress turned director Revathi. Hema Malini’s attention was drawn to a story about mother – daughter relationship, so she decided to go ahead and produce it. Since it’s a film about women, she decided it would be apt for a woman to produce the film and Revathi came to her mind.
Revathi has already directed 2 remarkable films ‘Mitr-My Friend‘ and ‘Phir Milenge‘. But differences started even during the phase of story narration. It is said that Esha disagreed at every step with Revathi during the story narration stage. Also mummy Hema wanted Shiney Ahuja, John Abraham or Abhishek Bachchan as the lead actor opposite to her daughter, but was unable to rope in any of them. Revathy who waited patiently all this time seems to have reached her patience limit and walked out of the project.
Losing a remarkable director like Revathi is definitely a loss of Esha as well as Hema!
