It is the season of actresses playing journalists on screen. Nayantara dons the role of a television journalist in ‘Sathyam’ opposite Vishal, while Asin donned a similar role in ‘Vel’ opposite Surya.
Now it is the turn of Keerat to play an investigative journalist in ‘Dhurai’ alongside Arjun. Directed by A Venkatesh, the movie went to floors recently. Initially Padmapriya was slated to play the heroine.
However she was replaced by Keerat at the last moment.
