Adlabs, Green peace shows on effects of global warming

The Adlabs owned Big 92.7 FM has joined hands with Green Peace to host a series of on-air and on-ground awareness shows, titled `Blue Alert’ campaign, aimed at sensitizing citizens to the effects of global warming and resultant problems - raising sea levels and climatic changes.

As part of the initiative, a signature campaign would receive the signatures of residents of the city, which would be sent to Members of Parliament, urging them to raise the issue in Parliament.

According to a press release from Big 92.7 FM today, the radio station’s top Radio Jockey in Chennai, Dheena, would spread awareness on global warming, during the prime-time `Big Vanakam show hosted by him.

Celebrities are also expected to take part in the initiative and lend support to the activity, the release added.

The initiative, which is just underway, will run till April 12, the release said.
