Reliance and Cheran team up

It has been speculated for a long time that director cum actor Cheran would make "Autograph – 2". Cheran, who has been non committal on the project, has now informally confirmed the project. The sources say that "Autograph – 2", which he would start after completing "Pokkisham", will be produced by Reliance. On the sidelights, Gopika, who was introduced by Cheran in "Autograph", is said to have declined to act in the second part, when Cheran wanted to make it some time back. She declined the offer citing the call sheet problem.

But Cheran doesn’t feel hurt because of this denial. He takes it in his stride saying that it is purely the choice of the actor to accept or deny a project. Cheran, who is now concentrating on "Raman Thedia Seethai", would soon start his directorial venture "Pokkisham" after a long gap after the forgettable movie "Maya Kannaadi". He will also don the lead role in the movie.
