Dhanush in ‘Padikkathaavan’

 

Dhanush’s romance with Rajini titles continues. Following the successful film ‘Polladhavan,’ he is now set to act in a film titled ‘Padikkaathavan’. The movie will be directed by Suraj and produced by the seasoned production house Vauhini Combines. It was Dhanush who insisted that the movie should have a title from Superstar’s hit movies. Suraj, it is said, promptly suggested two titles as ‘Vitudhalai’ and ‘Padikkaathavan’ and Dhanush selected the second one. So ‘Padikkaathavan’ follows ‘Polladhavan’.

As we have reported earlier, Dhanush’s project with ‘Polladhavan’ director Vetri Maaran is confirmed. The movie will be started after Dhanush completes Suraj’s film. Suraj, who gave a hit movie ‘Marudamalai’ starring Arjun last year, has prepared a fun filled action script that impressed Dhanush very much. Music will be done by Mani Sharma and the choice of the heroine is yet to be finalized. The film will go to floors in April.
