Lyricist Snehan on Wednesday underwent a minor surgery on his hand at a private hospital at Vadapalani in Chennai.
Circles close to Snehan said the lyricist, who is donning the greasepaint for the first time in Ameer starer ‘Yogi’, met with a small accident during the shoot of the movie following which a bone in his right hand got fractured.
He was admitted to a hospital where was recommended by the doctors to undergo an operation. Following this, the lyricist went under scalpel on Wednesday. He is doing well now, the sources added.
Snehan was shooting for the song ‘Seermigu Koovathilay…Singara Chennaiyilay..’, while the mishap took place. ‘Yogi’, directed by Subramaniam Siva of ‘Thiruda Thirudi’ fame, has filmmaker Ameer and Madhumitha in lead roles.
